Mini Exploding Heart - Drivin' Down 9

Lysa Flower designed this Drivin' Down 9 fabric last year, and I made a Suitcases quilt with it (remember this one??). I had some scraps left over, so decided to make a MINI Exploding Heart quilt with them!

I recently went to a quilt retreat, and knew it would be the perfect time to make a quick and easy baby quilt! A relative of my husband recently had a baby girl, and I had made a quilt for their son, so I *had* to make a quilt for their daughter! 

Going Bat Crazy!

Last month, Missouri Star sent me a bundle of Halloween fabrics to sew into a Bat Crazy quilt!

It was such a happy stack of fabric! The collection name is Hey Boo, and it was designed by Lella Boutique for Moda. I love the subtle colors that aren't as bright as the usual Halloween colors!

A Third and a First

The Exploding Heart quilt pattern launched in 2020, and four years later, there's now a MINI Exploding Heart quilt pattern! When I was looking for fabrics that would work well for the smaller version, I was immediately drawn to Tilda fabrics. They're from Norway, and more pricey than typical fabrics. This makes them special - and perfect for making a wall-hanging sized Exploding Heart quilt!
