A friend of mine (that's a music teacher) recently had a baby boy. When hunting for inspiration in my stash, I found this old music print with aqua colored blue birds on it. I knew it was just the starting point I needed!
Pack your Suitcases! Let's go to New York!!
Sunday, August 7, 2022
I'm so excited to share this quilt with you!! Gotham Quilts, a quilt hop in New York City, has come out with their very own New York City themed fabric! When they asked if I would make something to show off the new fabrics, I shouted YES!!
The fabrics feature many iconic New York City things - rats, pigeons, taxis, bicycles, and of course the skyline! I knew it would be perfect for a Suitcases quilt!

This quilt has been in the queue for over a year! My friend had a baby exactly a year ago, and I FINALLY got the quilt finished! So I suppose you could say I was just waiting to gift it to her daughter for her first birthday!
4-H Table Runner
Thursday, July 7, 2022
Do you remember the 4-H quilt I made a few months ago? Well, JoAnn and 4-H asked if I would make a wall hanging project too!
I love 4-H. My mom was in 4-H, I was in 4-H, and now my own kids are in 4-H too. I'm even our county's quilting leader and teach almost two dozen kids how to make a quilt every year!

Friday, July 1, 2022
Tammy of Tamarinis has a new GORGEOUS fabric collection with Island Batik called Savannah. I *thought* we were doing a digital blog hop to show off the fabrics, but Tammy surprised me by sending me a fat quarter bundle of them!! As soon as I opened the package, I knew they had to be sewn into a Flutterfly quilt!

Tuesday, June 28, 2022
My quilty friend, Charisma of Charisma's Corner, is also a quilt pattern designer and designs new things faster than the speed of light! She's always up to something incredible, and I love seeing what she does next!
Enter the Razzleberry quilt! Charisma designed an acrylic template, and more than a DOZEN quilt patterns that can be made using the one single template! (See them all HERE!) I picked this pattern to try out the technique!
