If you're new here, hello! I'm Laura! I design quilt patterns, and I'm a self-proclaimed deal hunter! Be sure to join the popular Quilting & Sewing Deals Facebook group where I post sales, deals, and coupon codes from all around the web!
Be sure to visit all the stops on the blog hop to see what's new with Island Batik (blog schedule at the bottom of this post). There are a few stops each day all month long - and giveaways galore!
Island Batik sent me a fat quarter bundle of the Alpine Ice collection to play with for the blog hop. Alpine Ice ships to stores in April, so be sure to tell your local quilt shop to order it!
The collection has 19 fabrics: some in the blue colorway and some in the gray. It even includes some fabulous neutrals! (I think the dark two-tone gray dot called "Gun Metal" is my absolute favorite!)
Sometimes it's challenging to use the same fabrics in more than one quilt, but this time, I knew exactly the design I wanted to use for the second quilt! (And both of the quilts are snowflake designs!)
I started by cutting circles and rings from my fusible (I used Heat-N-Bond Lite) using an Olfa rotary circle cutter. After pressing the fusible to the fabric, I used the circle cutter to cut most of the circles needed for the quilt. The circle cutter can not cut circles smaller than 1 1/2" in diameter, so I had to trace and cut the smaller sized circles by hand.
It was fun to watch the quilt progress as the circles were added to the background!
Once the top was done, I pin basted the quilt with Fairfield 80/20 cotton batting.
For quilting, I decided a circle quilt needed more circles! I used 50wt Aurifil in Natural White #2021 (and when that ran out, I switched to White #2024) to quilt large pebbles in the negative space around the outside of the snowflake.
I didn't quilt in the middle of the snowflake since I had quilted it by stitching down the circles. I'm still not sure about that. I might go back and add some pebbles if I'm still thinking about it in a couple days.
For binding, I used scraps of the blue fat quarters cut into 2 1/4" wide strips. I machine stitched it on with the Medium Blue Aurifil.
I used the dark blue snowflake print from the Alpine Ice collection for the back, along with a white neutral to make it large enough.
This was my first quilt finish of 2018! I really love how this quilt turned out!I'll be writing the pattern for it very soon! Be sure to follow me on Facebook and Instagram to be the first to know when it's available!
UPDATE: The pattern is now available on Etsy!

This was actually my second time using this collection! Last September, I shared my Snowfall quilt using the same Alpine Ice fabrics. (You can read more about that quilt and find a link to the pattern here.)

Stunning!!!
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is fabulous! I have started to tackle my UFO projects. I finished quilting and applying the binding for the first one on my list. I have a little more than 1/2 of the binding to finishing hand stitching down. Then I will be able to check that one off. And, then start working on completing as many UFOs as I can.
ReplyDeleteYou made an absolutely beautiful quilt!
ReplyDeleteMy quilt resolutions for 2018 is to finish most of my WIPs, improve my improv skills, and make some original designs.
DeleteBeautiful work! Love the fabrics and the cool pattern.
ReplyDeleteKathy,
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt! I like seeing what other people can think up to do with fabric.
I hope to finish 1 UFO each month this year.
Petuniakr@aol.com
Your quilt is sew beautiful and I love this fabric. I am going to try to enjoy the process of making quilts instead of focusing on "just getting them done". Thanks for the wonderful giveaway.
ReplyDeleteMy quilting resolution for this year is to finally finish the never-ending quilt! :) It is a BOM that I started in 2005. It went in time out for a while because my skill set wasn't up to the blocks in the pattern and I got frustrated. I have been hand quilting it over the last four winters. Am up to the borders, so the end is in sight!
ReplyDeleteSandy A
Lovely quilt! Really uses those gorgeous fabrics well. The quilting choice is perfect. Thanks for linking up to Wednesday Wait Loss!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous quilt! My resolution this year is to work on using my stash to complete projects for myself and to donate for charities. akronne17@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteJust amazing!
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is gorgeous! I love circles of all sizes. I like how the design reaches right out to the edge of the quilt. All those pebbles WOW! That's a time commitment. This year I plan on working on ufos again. I have a stack of 12 that will be finished and another stack of hopefuls.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! I'm in Canada, so not in for the win but will follow you on Facebook to watch for the pattern.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is stunning. My resolution is to learn to sew curves. I'm starting with a Drunkards Path. Thanks for sharing your beautiful quilt. grinnie1961 at gmail dot com

ReplyDeleteI always love your quilts (again...you seem to fly through your creating!!!!) I am hoping and wishing to get alot of my completed tops worked into finished quilts this year!! And I may have to make that adorable Alpine Snowflake once your pattern is up!
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful. My quilting goal for 2018 is to finish every UFO I have...it's lofty!
ReplyDeleteBoth of your quilts are glorious in the Alpine batiks! When I first looked at the circles, I wondered how you did that, but your tutorial cleared that up. It is like a huge jewel of ice! On my quilty list for 2018 is at least 2 UFO's...one is a batik bed runner that needs quilting and the other is a large Postcard From Sweden project!
ReplyDeleteWOW! The circle snowflake quilt is just gorgeous! Awesome job.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the giveaway. This year I plan on finishing a lot of my UFO's and making two queen sized ones for gifts.

ReplyDeleteI a word: stunning. I would LOVE to win a copy of the pattern.
ReplyDeleteI am having health issues so I am setting two small goals each month - a rainbow scrap challenge block and a cat pattern block. Anything above that is bonus. :)
Both are gorgeous quilts. I love the snowflakes, but those circles - so many of them - make a stunning quilt. I resolve to enjoy all my quilting this year!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Great impact. Great job. Love the photos. No need to add more quilting. You know my quilty resolutions--make baby charity quilts for Jack's Basket.
ReplyDeletePretty quilts. Learn to nail the quarter inch on a sewing machine, so blocks come out square. 24Tangent@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteWowzers, just pretty!!! The only resolution I have is not to be so hard on myself that I have so many WIPS and UFO's.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the Snowflake quilt. Hurry with the pattern please! Would like to make and finish it for a new year's resolution. Other than that, my quilty resolutions are to finish some UFOs.
ReplyDeleteHoly smokes, I fell for this quilt the minute I saw it. Totally gorgeous. Of course, you used the colors perfectly. I am definitely adding your blog to my Feedly list. I can't wait to read more about your work. I've already started one of my goals and that is to make a Patchwork of the Crosses quilt. I joined a group and signed up for a monthly package of papers and fabrics to make 3 cross blocks. I love hand stitching but I can see that this is going to be a huge accomplishment.
ReplyDeleteWow! Amazing quilt you've created. That looks like it was a lot of work, but SO gorgeous so well worth that time I'd say.
ReplyDeleteWhat an incredibly gorgeous snowflake! I hope you plan to enter this into some shows - it certainly deserves to be seen. Congrats on a terrific design!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cool looking quilt! My resolution is to finish up my works in progress - I have several "baby" quilts waiting to be quilted.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is lovely. My resolution is to clean up my quilting room finish some of my UFO's and to do a quilt for my sister.
ReplyDeleteThat is an amazing quilt - and you made it look so easy! My only quilty resolution this year is to just keep trying new things!
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is beautiful! I hope to finish the few UFOs I have this year.
ReplyDeleteI am always in awe of your quilt designs. I think this is my favorite by far!! I love the way different sized circles created the larger design. I to think you finished this is less than 10 days. I am completely blown away. Congratulations on yet another wonderful quilt and the start to a great 2018.
ReplyDeletewow - your circles are impressive - ubelievably round!!!! Beautiful design!!! My resollution this year was not to be afraid of failure - I am going to leap (cautiously) into some new quilting techniques! mumbird3(at)gmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is gorgeous! love, Love, LOVE it!! My goal this year is to actually finish some of the BOM's I purchased last year! And finish some UFOs too!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty. You are so creative. Quilty resolution.... my only one is to use the fabrics I have bought instead of just admiring the fabrics I buy.
ReplyDeletetushay3 (at) yahoo (dot) com
Simply gorgeous! My quilty resolution was to sew more, but that hasn't happened yet.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is amazing. I have made a list of some UFO's that have quite a lot already done on them, so my goal is to get at least some of them ready for quilting.
ReplyDeleteI am truly stunned by your work! Wow!! My goal this year is to do my first BOM! tks!
ReplyDeleteYour design is YOWZA Gorgeous!!!! It was a breath taking moment. My resolution is to list and prioritize my UFO's. At 9 so far, and it's scary how many more to add...
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful design Laura. It reminds me of a fractal, especially at the edges.
ReplyDeleteNice job with your quilt. It turned out beautifully. I really want to start working on a blog, so need to get that up and running!
ReplyDeleteJust to finish a few of my ufo's and use them for Christmas this year.... happyness04431@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun and beautiful quilt! I love it!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love the quilt. I really need to finish some of my UFO's, I think I have one that's going on eight years old.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is gorgeous. I am working on a quilt with my friend and I want to complete my UFO's. Thank you for the generous giveaway.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous quilt! My resolutions... same as last year... finish my neice's wedding quilt since she was married almost 2 years ago... braunk@cableone.net
ReplyDeleteOne of my resolutions is to make quilts of my own designs. With that said, I would very much like to make a quilt with your pattern. It is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful quilt! I hope to sew several quilts this year that I already have fabrics for! I am currently without a sewing room...changing things around here :) That's the main goal! So I can sew more!!
ReplyDeleteWow! That quilt is impressive! My quilty resolution is to try and sew a bit every day. Doesn't have to be much, just a bit.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! I don't think I've seen that circle cutter before-very intriguing. I'm working on not starting too many new projects (ha!) and using up what I have before buying new fabric.
ReplyDeleteresolutions don't work for me. If I can't get off my butt to do it during the year, a new year isn't going to change that.
ReplyDeletePretty fantastic--especially considering you were still cutting out circles just a short while ago!! FYI--there is a Dotty for MQX challenge as part of MQX show that may be a great fit for this stunning quilt. Deadline is 2/1 (hint hint!)
ReplyDeleteWow on your quilt,my quilt goal is to finish my ufos,ty
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! You have impressed and inspired me AGAIN! I love, love, love your work! Finish, finish, finish is my mantra for the year! I'm going to keep track this year to make sure I finish more than I start......I think! Heeheehee
ReplyDelete❤Love this!!❤ My goal is to make a quilt for me!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! My goal is to finish a quilt for our bed! I'm better at obligations to others than finishing things for myself.
ReplyDeleteThis quilt is AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteMy Goal is to finish a circle of geese quilt for my Grand Daughter that I started a year ago & to use up some of my Fabric Stash into 3 quilts before year end!
I hope to finish whatever I start.
ReplyDeleteThis quilt is amazing! My goal is to finish my civil war quilt that was started 6 years ago. quiltmaker1967@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteThat's gorgeous. I love how you used the shades of gray and blue to accent the shape of the snowflake. Great job.
ReplyDeleteWow!! I love all of those circles!! And blues are my favorite colors. You made a beautiful quilt! My goal this year is to finish one project a month (quilt, mini quilt, wall hanging, wool project etc.) I had the same goal last year, and met my goal before December was over. Yea! Progress! Thank you for the great give-away!
ReplyDeletewarner.dale@gmail.com
I intend to finish my Milifiore quilt started during the qal with Katja Marek. I chose all beach- and summer-themed prints for my quilt and I'm eager to see it finished.
ReplyDelete:) Linda (lindaschiffer at me dot com)
Oh.my.goodness. This is stunning! I am blown away by how gorgeous this is. Congratulations (exclude me from drawing - I’ll have plenty of bariks in near future)!

ReplyDeleteForgot my e-mail address so here dekihs@gmail.com
DeleteBeautiful quilt! I love snow & winter weather so this is a perfect image for me! I am going to do a quilting room clean up, destash & reorganize this year then start a list of ‘must do’ projects.
ReplyDeletebeyond words!!! This is a beauty, and what a design, and your fabric choices are superb. As I am in NZ, not an entry for your give-away, but a comment is so needed for this quilt,
ReplyDeleteWow - such a beautiful quilt! I want to finish some UFOs this year and if I start a new project I have to see it all the way through so it doesn't add to the UFO list.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt! Blues are my favorite fabrics and this collection is wonderful. You have a definite talent for designing quilts. My quilty plans for 2018 are to finish piecing unfinished quilts.
ReplyDeleteOmg, would I! This quilt is stunning!i am working on a thanksgiving quilt I want to display this year so I am determined to get it done ✅
ReplyDeleteI usually look at Facebook and hoe, hum about the quilts and patterns. However, upon seeing your pattern, I stopped in my tracks--whoa horsie--this is a totally cool pattern, different, not to complicated, FUN,---I can go on and on. It's wonderful, congratulations-would love to win this pattern. Your use of colors is "spot on". To answer your question, I hope to finish a paper piece pattern for my sister this year. I'm amazed at how long it takes to make ONE block. My sister will ask, "How's it going?". I'll say, "Well, I worked in sewing room for 4 hours today and got 1/2 of one pattern block done". Really? Oh, well, that's what I hope to do: get that quilt finished quickly. cswsand50@hotmail.com carolyn w.
ReplyDeleteStunning design! I love the colors and the affect of all of the circle applique.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful! I am using the Quilter's Planner this year, hoping it will get me organized so I can finish more quilts and UFOs!
ReplyDeleteWow! Love your design!
ReplyDeleteOne of my resolutions, or maybe it's a realization, is no more bed size quilts. I do not enjoy attaching borders with a 90 inch seams or wrestling to square up a top that's 100 inches, so why do it? No more, this is my hobby and I need to enjoy it.
You've got a winner on your hands! Truly hit the spot for design, and use of fabrics, and especially for this time of year. Very fun quilt!
ReplyDeleteMy quilty resolution for this year is to finish at least two of the "close to complete" UFOs in my stack.
ReplyDeleteSpend less time on Facebook quilt pages and go into my sewing room and get busy.
ReplyDeleteMy quilty resolution for this year is to try quilting with a ruler foot on my domestic sewing machine. I have purchased the foot, I just have tried it yet.
ReplyDeleteI think they had me in mind when they designed this fabric collection!! Fabulous colors and designs. The quilt is the perfect way to show them off. Love the whole works!!!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning! Love the blog on how to make it and put it together.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteI love this quilt, the motion and the colours. My work this year is to just keep on trying new things, more colour and motion. I'm currently working on making an owl quilt for my son
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful! I have a quilt with snowflakes on it -- was wondering how to quilt around all of them.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is absolutely gorgeous and so inspiring! It's the perfect winter quilt. I also love how you used circles to make a snowflake shape, since snowflakes are usually seen as so angular!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI am cleaning my sewing room before I do anything this year!
Stunning quilt! My goal is to finish more quilts than I start in 2018!
ReplyDeleteWhat a striking quilt! I love your circle design and the combination of blue and gray. I'm determined to make great progress and possibly finish the Double Wedding Ring paper-pieced and appliqued quilt I've promised my daughter and son-in-law. Procrastination, be gone!
ReplyDeleteOh, man!! That is just amazing! I am so in love with your circle snowflake quilt. Normally I'm a needle-turn, hand-stitch kind of applique person, but this fusible project has me rethinking that. As for quilting goals in the new year, well, my main goal is to become proficient with the long arm machine I bought last March, and that's going to require that I crank out a lot of simple tops and FINISH THEM. Again, fusible applique projects like yours are looking really attractive!
ReplyDeleteOutstanding quilt! I love your circles and helpful tutorial!! The blues are gorgeous!
ReplyDeletenikilsend(at)outlook(dot)com
Forgot to add that I want to finish some UFO's this year!
Delete❄Absolutely gorgeous!!! The quilting is the perfect compliment❄
ReplyDeleteMy quilt resolution for 2018 is to finally make myself a quilt. I have all the fabric, just made so many others instead. I love gifting quilts. Time to gift myself!
ReplyDeleteI want to learn paper piecing-to me it looks difficult😕
ReplyDeleteCarol S.
Sandyzoo45@comcast.net
I make quilts and give them away. My resolution this year is to make a quilt for everyone in my family, since they don't usually get one!
ReplyDeleteI plan to design a quilt pattern using a wildlife(moose) panel. bsims@millect.com
ReplyDeleteI have resolved to finish at least one UFO before I begin a new project. Just finished the 1st one and I' m off to baste another. Maybe I can start a new project next week.
ReplyDeleteMy very favorite color has always been blue! Obviously, this has to be my most favorite quilt that I have seen on here so far. Most are beautiful and I truly admire all these ladies for their artistic approach to quilting, but this quilt has ME all over it!! I would love to have the pattern! With some help for an "old beginner" of quilting, I know my friend will help me make this quilt! I would so love to win something like this! What a prize THAT would be!! Thank you for this beautiful quilt, and I can't wait to see more! My email is: mipa56@aol.com name is: Dianne Bryson
ReplyDeleteStunning. Love, love, love the snowflake.
ReplyDeleteSuch vision! You certainly raise the bar! My resolution is to use my scraps as I generate them this year.
ReplyDeleteBreathtaking! Beautiful! Love your snowy quilts!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI hope to complete at least 1 WIP a month!!! I'm sooooo far behind. :) :) :)
This year I want to learn to machine quilt.. I also will (will) finish some of my UFOs. Bonnietr@aol.com
ReplyDeleteMy year is going to be all about UFOs. One challenge that I signed up for is to deal with 12 UFOs. One each month. So, I am working on that. martisovitsd (at) central (dot) edu
ReplyDeletemy current goal is to finish an EPP quilt I started near the end of December. I love your quilt!!
ReplyDeletewow that is absolutely stunning - it reminds me of a crochet diagram, or a piece of lace and it's a snowflake without being twee - gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I showed my hubby and now he wants me to make one for him in blues and golds and silver. However my first goal of 2018 is a UFO from last year - a queen size quilt for my daughter.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I am working on my UFO pile, that I listed...hanging my head in shame.
ReplyDeleteyour quilt is amazing! my quilty resolution is no more ufos.
ReplyDeleteMy only quilty goal this year is" No buying fabric". I have to use my stash. Everyone I know made fun of my sewing room New Years Eve. It ended up with me pledging not to BUY any until the end of the year or I had used up all my stash. lol, it will be the end of the year. BUT,,,,,, no one said I couldn't win fabric. hehehehehe
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic!!! You really made these fabrics sparkle with this design, Laura, and I look forward to the pattern. My biggest quilty resolution of the year is to gain full confidence on my longarm and pick up customers to make it start earning its keep.
ReplyDeleteMy only goal this year is to make my first quilt bigger than a wall hanging!
ReplyDeleteLovely quilt. I really like the snowflake fabric in the backing. No quilty resolutions here. I'm just going with the flow, trying new things and not worrying about what gets done.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful quilt. I love the design and colors. My quilts resolution is to try alternating ufos and new projects.
ReplyDeleteThis year I want to balance the quilts I make for gifts, for charity, for our family (practical quilts), and my passion projects--the ideas that come to me and I get excited about. After two weeks I've already noticed that while I've made kennel quilts and worked on gifts and finished up a quilt for our family use, I have not done anything that could be called a "passion project". I need to change that habit right now.
ReplyDeleteLove your snowflakes! My resolution is to Finish more quilts!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely Gorgeous! My Quilting resolution for 2018 is to make some charaty quilts for Childrens Medical Center the Cardiac Clinic or The Ronald McDonald house. ReplyDeleteYour quilt is fabulous! My resolution is to get my scraps and project leftovers better organized.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I love the blue blue blue in this quilt! I'm going to finish a couple of UFO's and maybe start scrappy twin sized quilts for my granddaughters new bedroom. Her mom wants a girly vintage look in her room.
ReplyDeleteI don't push myself into resolutions but do have a plan for the year. To finish and gift a purple Labyrinth quilt for ds and dil, make a "super heroes" quilt for 4yo great grandson, and a beautiful gray and silver table runner for dgd. If I meet these plans I will be satisfied. Your snowflake quilt is amazing. Lots of work with circles and you did a fabulous job! Thanks for sharing it!I have grown to love blue for winter pieces. Have a blue and silver table runner to finish that I started this Christmas. Hoping I get that done also!
ReplyDeleteWow! That is quite a quilt! My quilty goals for this years are to quilt a couple of tops that I have had ready for awhile and to attempt a pattern with a block I have never tried before.
ReplyDeleteI am a beginner quilter, so I guess my goal is to FINISH something!
ReplyDeleteMy goal is to have fun with fabric! I LOVE your snowflake quilts...the circles are totally stunning!!
ReplyDeleteI have a Block of the month to finish and a lot of UFOs. I love your quilt. It is beautiful
ReplyDeleteThis quilt is stunning!!! I'm working on a blue & white pineapple wedding quilt for my daughter's May wedding. The scraps would be put to good use :-) My resolution this year is finish one UFO before starting each new project. We'll see if it works! tazelaar@mtcnet,net
ReplyDeleteLOOOOOVE IT!!! Must get myself one of those circular cutters <3
ReplyDeleteOne of my quilty resolutions this year... do more intentional free motion practice and incorporate FMQ in my quilts!
My resolution is to sew my stash!
ReplyDeleteQuilty resolution: use twice as much yardage as I buy for the year, and start by buying no fabric for the first 6 months. Also gonna play with TEXTURE this year.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up with TGIFF--what an awesome quilt!
oh, I love the quilt snowfall
ReplyDeleteI LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteResolution? To start AND finish a quilt!
My quilty resolution last year was so successful (I finished all my half-finished quilt projects) that I'm continuing with the next logical step. This year, 2018, I will finish all my planned quilts -- you know, the ones you've already purchased the fabric for and have a specific pattern idea in mind. I've given up on ever keeping the resolution I made for four years in a row -- to organize my studio and donate everything I no longer need. It's a very slow process when you are a creative type. ReplyDeleteMy quilty resolutions are the same as every year--piece from my stash & quilt some of those tops! I do allow myself to buy background fabric for a quilt if I don't have anything that really works in my stash!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous quilt! I love all the circles and the quilting is just what it needed! As far as resolutions, I want to finish the projects I have started. I think it is in the neighborhood of 6 or 7 that are all in various stages. I am trying hard not to start a new project but I am being very tempted! Especially after seeing you wonderful quilt! ReplyDeleteLove your snowflake! Was just thinking of starting a project with circles. My goal for the year is to find a hand work project I enjoy and will stick with!!! I'm in a Handi Stitchers group and I've struck out twice
ReplyDeleteI love your quilt, it was a great idea for using the Alpine Ice collection. My goal for this year is to complete many if quilts I've already started. I just finished sewing the blocks together and trimming a quilt top from a 2012 mystery class I took. I just need to sew the borders on. Yeah!

DeleteI would love to win. My resolution is to clean out my sewing/craft room, reorganize it so I can actually sit down and sew/quilt again. I got a nice used computerized sewing machine that I haven't had a chance to try out yet.
ReplyDeleteI just purchased the circle cutter. Your picture stopped me cold. I love the colors and of course the circles My resolution is to try a circle quilt.
ReplyDeleteMy resolution is the usual one: clean and organize my sewing room and then tackle my UFO’s. But the overriding rule is to enjoy the tasks.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win the leftovers. I am challenged by BLUE, never sure what complements what. Perhaps a touch of color blindness or fear of the quilt police. I think i’m ready to face this challenge.

My resolution is to finish some quilts that have been started and to NOT shop for any more fabric, try to use what I have first, so I need to win fabric!!
ReplyDeleteThe eight pointed star quilt is fantastic! It would definately go to the top of my to do list! Since I probably won't be fortunate enough to win....how do I get a copy of the pattern. This pattern really talks to me! Until then, back to finishing the Christmas presents that didn't quite get finished before the end of the year. AnnLouise Pugh cronelv@pughlitzer.com
