A couple weeks ago, a woman posted in our local Facebook group looking for someone to sew her grandpa's shirts into pillows so she could gift them to the family at Thanksgiving. I knew it would be a meaningful project, so I agreed to do it!

Remember when I made this Exploding Heart quilt a few months ago?? Well, the scraps from that quilt are now in this cute wreath!
I actually dug the fabric scraps out of the trash while making that quilt. I just *knew* I would be able to turn them into something fun!

Last week, I flew to California for a few days. Of course I wanted to take a quilt with me to photograph on the beach, so I turned a panel into a quick finish!
And yes, I DID sew with my battery-powered sewing machine on the plane!
