Rose Garden - A FREE Quilt Block Pattern!

This month's Quilt Block Mania theme is flowers - and I have a sweet and simple pieced block to share with you!

If you're new here, hello! I'm Laura! I design quilt patterns, and I'm a self-proclaimed deal hunter! Be sure to join the popular Quilting & Sewing Deals Facebook group where I post sales, deals, and coupon codes from all around the web!
The Rose Garden quilt block uses traditional piecing - no applique or paper piecing!
It's a great block for using up some scraps from your stash! Keep all the flowers the same colors or make a whole rainbow garden! Make several blocks for a quick and easy spring table runner!
For my sample block, I chose a mix of solid fabric from my stash that were close in color to the design. I chose a deep red and coral for the flowers, dark green for the stem and leaves, and a light gray for the background.
I used 50wt Aurifil #2021 Natural White for all the piecing.
I even got to use my green ViviLux sewing machine laser for this one! It's one of my favorite sewing notions!
The block went together quickly! (Well, except for the one section I sewed upside down and had to use Jack the Ripper to help me fix it!)
I think this would make such a great spring table runner! I can see it in all pinks, but all bright colors would make it very fun too!
