Laying Tracks is now available as a digital and paper pattern!
This quilt began about nine months ago. I had just gotten a new phone and wanted a quilty wallpaper. The rabbit trail of Pinterest led to a picture of a fabric that I loved! That inspiration photo has been my wallpaper ever since!
I drew some mockups of the quilt on my computer and did a test of the pattern in red and green fabric. You may have seen this version on Facebook and Instagram!
I chose to make the throw size version from navy, coral, and white solids from a local quilt shop.
I found a perfectly coordinated print from Jo-Ann's for the back!
I quilted it myself on my Bernina Record 930 with a swirl design. It's not perfect, but it will be well-loved anyway!
The quilt pattern has measurements and directions for five quilt sizes: baby, throw, twin, queen, and king.
I think it would be perfect for highlighting your favorite team colors! Strip and chain piecing make the quilt come together quickly too! It is an intermediate level pattern as it requires accurate 1/4" and partial seams.
The pattern is available digitally on craftsy.com. Paper versions and digital versions are available on etsy.com or I can invoice you directly through PayPal.
If you are a quilt shop interested in carrying this pattern, please email sliceofpiquilts@gmail.com!
