If you're new here, hello! I'm Laura! I design quilt patterns, and I'm a self-proclaimed deal hunter! Be sure to join the popular Quilting & Sewing Deals Facebook group where I post sales, deals, and coupon codes from all around the web!

I started this block with choosing the fabrics. Every color has already been used in one of the previous blocks, so that will really help bring the quilt together in the end.

Karen's pattern helps you keep all the pieces organized with labels you can print for each piece. Or you might like to use lettered pins!

I even got to use my sewing machine laser for this one! (You can read more about the laser on THIS POST!)

My favorite part of this block is the billboard! There are so many fun things you could do for it! I decided to make a mini version of Block 8 (without the trees) to show that I'm on my way to the lake!

I used 50wt Aurifil #2024 White to sew the block together, which only shows up when you look behind the seams.

This was a fun block to sew!

And I love how all nine of my blocks look together!

  4. Greetings - just saw your ad for laser lights - am looking for one to use with a Qnique 19 for pantographs - will one of these lasers work well with pantograph quilting?
