The weeks are flying by! It's already time for the 4th block of the QAL By the Sea! (It's also the end of segment 1. That means you have an extra week to catch up, and a chance to win some prizes! If you're sewing along, be sure to read the segment 1 post!)

QAL By the Sea - Block 2

The QAL by the Sea is off to a great start! Block 1 was released last week, and there's still plenty of time to join the fun!

I absolutely LOVE this block and was so excited to make it in my monochromatic aqua palette!

A Glowing Finish - 1,050 Days in the Making

Last weekend, I got to spend three days at the Sew Cozy Quilt Lodge in Wakefield, Kansas. It's a wonderful quilt retreat built and owned by a quilter. I've been to the retreat several times before (read about two of my previous visits here and here), and I was excited to go back!

When making a list of what I wanted to work on while there, I decided it was time to finish a quilt I started a few years ago but never finished. (I know I'm not the only one with projects like that!)
