This is a fun 2020 blog hop! It's all digital! So 2020, right?!
Tammy of Tamarinis has a new fabric collection with Island Batik called Just My Type, and she's asked a dozen designers to use the fabric to have a digital quilt show!

If you're new here, hello! I'm Laura! I design quilt patterns, and I'm a self-proclaimed deal hunter! Be sure to join the popular Quilting & Sewing Deals Facebook group where I post sales, deals, and coupon codes from all around the web!
I imported the fabrics into EQ8, then used the fabrics to color a few of my quilt patterns! I LOVE seeing the same quilt in different fabrics!
First up is my Exploding Heart quilt. I love how dramatic it looks with the dark background! I used Island Batik fabrics for the quilt on the cover of the pattern, but it has a completely different look! See it and several other colorways on this post.
Next, I tried them in the Rockslide pattern. The dark background really makes the fabrics pop like jewels!
I also wanted to see what they would look like in a Split Arrows quilt. I still used the dark color for the sashing, and it really gives the quilt a stained glass look!
If you've been around a while, you know I LOVE Island Batik fabrics! The colors are so rich and saturated, and they are a dream to sew with! Be sure to ask your local quilt shop about the Just My Type fabrics!
Which one of these digital quilts is your favorite??
Be sure to check out the other designers showing off their digital Just My Type quilts too!
